In addition to weekly worship on Sunday morning, we offer opportunities for people of all ages to grow in faith, gather in fellowship and serve in ministry. 

WEEKDAYS - Ministry Groups

Adults:

  • Community Prayer Tuesdays, 6:30pm. A focused time of prayer for the church, the community, the world

  • Roundtable Conversations, Tuesdays, 2pm.  An hour of open conversation about faith, the Bible, the church... whatever the group brings to the table.

  • Bible Study Thursdays, 3:00-4:30pm. 

  • Seeker's Book Club  4th Fridays, 1pm 

       

       

Men:

  • We Digress Tuesday, 8am at Stagecoach Cafe

  • Max Capacity alternating Thursdays, 7:30am at Penny Lane Coffee Shop

  • Men's Breakfast 3rd Saturdays, 8am at Studebaker's 

Women:

  • Engaging Joy Tuesdays, 1pm

  • Ladies Aid Wednesdays, 9am

  • Stressed but Blessed Wednesdays, 6:15

SUNDAYS - 9:30am Sunday School

Nursery Care is available for the youngest children during the Sunday School hour and during worship.  Infants through age 4 are loved by caring adults so that parents and grandparents can grow in their faith and worship God. 

Kindergarten - Grade 5 explore faith on their level through stories, crafts, games, drama, music, snacks. 

  • Sunday School - Sundays at 9:30. 

  • During the worship hour, children join with the entire church family for the beginning of worship.  Children are then dismissed for Power Zone - a small group, hands-on church experience.

SERVICE AND OUTREACH, IN OUR COMMUNITY AND GLOBALLY - a close-up look at how our church is being the hands and feet of Christ

 

*September through May

Youth in Grades 6 - 12 meet Sundays at 9:30 to dig into the Bible and discuss/discover how faith impacts their lives and their actions at home, in school and in their community.

Adults - 2 opportunities Sundays at 9:30

  • A topical exploration of the Bible using a guided study book. 

          Fall:  God's World and God's People

            Winter:  Our Love for God                        

            Spring:  Discipleship and Mission 

  • Roundtable conversation of the Scripture used in worship that day.

MUSIC

 

Choir

Wednesdays, 7:15-8:30pm, September through June.

Open to all youth and adults.  The only requirement is to have a love for making music (and singing in tune is preferred).

Handbells

Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00pm, September through June.

Open to music-reading youth and adults.

Director:  Sharon Smart

Band

Sundays, 8:30am, August through June

The primary role of the band is to lead the congregational singing during worship.  Currently, the band includes flute, clarinet, violin, trumpet, french horn, acoustic guitar, rhythm, keyboard and vocal.  Additional musicians and instruments are always welcome.

Third Saturdays, 8am at Studebaker's

 

Dinner Club

Fourth Thursdays, 6:00pm reservations at various restaurants in the Dayton area, Cincinnati and Columbus.  Open to any and all adults.

Son Rise Café

Sundays, 8:30am, September through May

A continental breakfast is available every Sunday morning, September through May.
