The band gets its name from the most commonly asked question of the players:
"What key are we in?"
The vision of the Whotkee? Remnant Band is to lead meaningful, transforming worship
experiences empowered by the Holy Spirit in such a way that enables people
to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The band is composed of Christian musicians, amateurs to professionals, from the
Southern Ohio District of the Church of the Brethren who love Jesus Christ.
The Band's first and foremost goal is to worship the Lord and to lift everything
we do to Jesus Christ in prayer for His blessing.
It is a band that wants to glorify God through their gifts of music.
The Whotkee? Remnant Band has led worship experiences throughout the
Church of the Brethren at the local, district and denominational level
using diverse styles of music from hymns to praise songs.
Although there is a core group which forms the Whotkee? Remnant Band,
the group varies from time to time because they encourage others to join
them each time. The most common instrumentation of the Whotkee?
Remnant Band is guitars, bass guitar, keyboard, piano, clarinet, brass
and percussion. However, over the years, there has been other wood-
wind, brass and string instruments, including the hammered dulcimer.
The Whotkee? Remnant Band was established in 1994
by Andrew J.O. Wright and Victoria L. Ullery and
