The focus of the Friday workshop is to train pastors and church leaders to be able to talk with youth about conscientious objection.
Phil Jones will be exploring the current situation concerning selective service.

Youth Lock-In

The focus of the Lock-In is to explore the issue of Conscientious Objection.
Phil Jones will lead the participates through various workshops and worship experiences to educate youth and youth advisors about this important issue.

Phil Jones is the Director of Witness and Washington Office for the Church of the Brethren.
Phil combines his gifts of ministry, organizational skills, and extensive grassroots efforts
in the areas of peace and justice, and a deep commitment to the Church of the Brethren,
to lead the Church of the Brethren into witness opportunities.

Pre-registration deadline for Pastors and Church Leaders Training Workshop is
Friday, April 27, 2007.
Pre-registration deadline for Youth Lock-In is Friday, April 27, 2007.
