8. Planned for God’s Pleasure
A. You created everything,
and it is for your pleasure that they exist and were created.
Revelation 4:11

The Lord takes pleasure
in his people.

B. Bringing enjoyment to God, living for his pleasure, is the first purpose of your life.
God wants you to enjoy life, not just to endure it.
Anything that brings
pleasure to God is an act of worship.
- - - Like a diamond,
worship is multifaceted.
Worship is a lifestyle.
- - - If music is
offered to God in spirit and truth, it is an act of worship.
Every activity can
be transformed into an act of worship when
you do it for the
praise, glory, and pleasure of God.
C. Point to Ponder:
I was planned for
God’s pleasure.

Question to Consider:
In spite of all
the advertising around me, how can I remind
myself that life
is really about living for God, not myself?
