The focus of the workshop is to explore ways of creating, encouraging and living out biblical hospitality in the faith community.
How does your church invite and welcome the stranger in your midst?
Fred will challenge participates to reflect on how their congregations are engaged in hospitality.
Fred will offer insights into how offering hospitality reaches out to all aspects of the ministry of the church.
Fred will also explore strategies for hospitality as it relates to worship.

Fred Bernhard is a retired Church of the Brethren pastor.
Bernhard has led workshops throughout the denomination.

He is the co-author with Steve Clapp of
"Widening the Welcome of Your Church: Biblical Hospitality & the Vital Congregation"
and
"Worship and Hospitality: Reaching Out and Healing Through Worship."

He is also an Institutional Advancement Associate for Bethany Theological Seminary.

Pre-registration deadline for lunch and book orders is October 15.
Pre-registration deadline for workshop only is October 29.
On site registration for workshop is welcome.
